“We first met Laurie back in December 2019 and we haven’t looked back. I was a first time dog owner when we got our puppy Bodie. Laurie helped us train him (and us as new puppy owners) for the first year of his life. We worked on basic commands but also more important things like recall, off leash walking, wait/stay and release, polite greetings, and more. She trains using positive reinforcement and we’ve been so successful with this method. She’s extremely knowledgeable and I would consider her an expert in her field. We’ve also boarded Bodie with Adventure Dog Academy a number of times. Bodie loves staying at her boarding facilities and we know he is safe and in good hands. Bodie recently did his longest stay with Laurie for eight nights while we were on spring break. It’s nice as a dog owner to know that you have nothing to worry about when you drop your dog off to be boarded with Adventure Dog Academy. Laurie’s back yard is fenced and is a huge running and playing area for the dogs. In addition, the newly constructed stand alone kennel for her boarding pups is clean, safe and video monitored! Bodie is so well taken care of with a lot of outdoor time, plenty of doggy stimulation, treats and a safe climate controlled area for naps and sleep. Laurie is also great about communicating if any concerns come up or with just day to day pictures and posts. We strongly recommend Adventure Dog Academy and Laurie for your family’s 4-legged friends.”
