Proactively Train and Prepare Your Pup

Juggling the demands of parenthood while meeting your dog’s needs (and your own!) is hard, especially during the first several months post-partum. If you’re expecting a baby and you want your pup to start off in the best possible way, this one-on-one class is for you. We start with an intake call, determine which package size works best for your needs, and schedule the first lesson within one week of the call.

All packages include:

  • How to set up your home for everyone’s safety and well being
  • Learn about dog behavior and body language, recognize stress signals
  • How to safely introduce dog and baby, and keep everyone safe and comfortable as your baby hits different milestones
  • Identify triggers that may cause anxiety once baby is home
  • Address “demand” behaviors such as pawing, whining, barking

3 Lesson Package – for dogs with some training experience, who need to brush up on manners

  • Three 45-minute virtual lessons (with option to convert to in-person for a $30/lesson travel fee after the first virtual session)
  • Review and practice responses to cues that will be helpful once baby arrives
  • Teach 1-2 new behaviors, if needed
  • Notes within 24 hours after each lesson
  • 6 months of phone and email support following the end of the package
  • $335

5 Lesson Package – for dogs who need to learn and practice household manners

  • Five 45-minute virtual lessons (with option to convert to in-person for a $30/lesson travel fee after the first virtual session)
  • Review and practice responses to cues that will be helpful once baby arrives
  • Teach 4-5 new behaviors, if needed
  • Notes within 24 hours after each lesson
  • 6 months of phone and email support following the end of the package
  • $520
