Management and Training for Dogs and Kids
Already have a baby or children in the home, and need some help with your dog’s behavior? This one-on-one class will cover the behaviors most people need to for a peaceful living space between canine and kid. We start with an intake call, then determine which package is the best fit for your needs. The first lesson is typically held within one week of the call.
All packages include:
- How to recognize stress signals and identify triggers that may cause anxiety
- How to build a bond between your child and your dog
- How to model appropriate behavior for your children to practice
- Set up “success stations” within your home to keep everyone safe and comfortable
- Learn about dog behavior and body language
3 Lesson Package – for dogs with some training experience, who need to brush up on manners
- Three 45-minute virtual lessons, with the option to switch to in-person after the first lesson (additional $30/lesson fee for travel)
- Review and practice responses to cues
- Learn 1-2 new behaviors, if desired
- Notes within 24 hours of each lesson
- Six months of unlimited email support
- $335
5 Lesson Package – for dogs who need to learn and practice household manners
- Five 45-minute virtual lessons, with the option to switch to in-person after the first lesson (additional $30/lesson fee for travel)
- Review and practice responses to cues
- Learn 4-5 new behaviors, if desired
- Notes within 24 hours of each lesson
- Six months of unlimited email support
- $520
Please note, this class is not for dogs with human aggression or severe anxiety. If that describes your dog, please reach out to me and I will refer you to a veterinary behaviorist and/or certified behavior consultant to address these issues.
